Important Safety Points

thesamebuilding.Althoughyourprotectorisdurable,itsinternalcomponentsarenotisolatedfrom

theenvironment.Donotinstallanyproductnearanyheat-emittingappliances,suchasaradiatoror

heatregister.Donotinstallthisproductwhereexcessivemoistureispresent.

*ATTENTION*

To ensure proper protection, the SurgeGate module MUST BE CONNECTED TO EARTH

GROUND. There cannot be any exceptions. A minimum #14 green insulated copper wire,

with a ring terminal at each end, should be used. Route the wire as directly as possible. Do

not make any other connections to the ground terminal of the module.
